At some point, I became acutely aware of the need to type without looking at the keyboard.

The usual "two-finger" method had run its course and started to annoy me. I clearly understood that I needed to type faster, but the physical reality wouldn't allow it.

Since I had been typing with "two fingers" for many years, retraining was daunting.

I didn't believe in the outcome.

It seemed like pure fantasy, something that couldn't possibly exist. Like it only worked in American movies. I hadn't seen a single living example around me.

What pushed me over the edge was an interview with Oleg Braginsky. He types at a speed of 450 characters per minute (see “Confessions of a Productivity Genius”).

I started doing exercises on Stamina. Progress was feeble.

Then I made a firm decision: "That's it. I will never type another text while looking at the keyboard again, no matter how much anyone rushes me." Let it be slower, but without looking. Like Indiana Jones stepping onto an invisible bridge in search of the Holy Grail.

The first week was slow, frustrating, and full of stumbling. I held on. If I peeked, I would still erase what I'd typed and retype it blindly.

And after a while, my body miraculously adapted. My fingers learned the letters on their own.

Joy and pleasure in typing arrived. Now, I'd rather backspace over a larger chunk of text and retype it from scratch than grab the mouse, jump to the error, and fix it there.

The main thing is that **the feeling of the Miracle of bodily transformation through one's own willful decision remained**.
